Kyle Lefkoff

Founder & General Partner · Boulder, Colorado

Thirty-nine years in venture capital. Kyle founded Boulder Ventures in 1995 to back IT and biotech founders the coasts weren’t reaching — and has been on the rope ever since.

In May 1998 he founded Array BioPharma and chaired its board for the next two decades. In 2019 Pfizer acquired Array for $11.8 billion — the largest acquisition of a venture-backed life-sciences company in the history of Colorado.

Away from the term sheet, Kyle is a professional mountain guide, founding chairman of AIARE (the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education), and a member of the 1986 American expedition to the North Face of K2.
